Murata today announced the availability of its –Type 1SC-SFS (LBAD0XX1SC-151) Cellular IoT Module. With a resin mold package, the solution delivers low power consumption and robust performance to meet the latest industry demands.It is compliant with 3GPP Release 14 standards and supports both LTE CAT M1 and LTE NB1, delivering a nominal output of 23 dBm. Further, with dimensions measuring just 11.1 x 11.4 x 1.4 mm, it is ideal for space constrained applications.

Key features of the module include up to 10 years of battery life, made possible by low power consumption modes and an average hibernation current as low as 1.5 μA. It also boasts comprehensive regulatory certifications, including FCC/IC, ETSI, TELEC, PTCRB, and GCF. The Type 1SC-SFS includes a user-friendly AT Command interface to facilitate seamless integration and guarantee bug-free performance. Extensive validation ensures compatibility across multiple platforms and hardware configurations. Additionally, Murata offers advanced software upgrade tools, comprehensive documentation, and access to a dedicated community forum to ensure unsurpassed customer support.
